Brightest Stars at SPIE Professional
April 2, 2008Congratulations to SPIE’s latest and brightest employee star: Beth Kelley, an editor and frequent contributing writer for SPIE Professional magazine.
Beth was named SPIE’s Brightest Star for the month of February at an SPIE employee gathering today. She has been the voice behind SPIE’s new Member Webcasts through SPIE.TV, works as an editor for SPIE Press and performs much of the online uploading and editing for the SPIE Newsroom and SPIE Professional — all while attending a master’s program at WWU and working as a teaching assistant there. She’s truly amazing!
Beth is the latest member of the SPIE Professional staff to earn recognition for stellar work at the member quarterly.
Carrie Binschus, the graphic artist for the magazine, earned the SPIE Brightest Star of the Year honors for 2007 for her tireless efforts in the production and design of the magazine and other materials for the Society.
